Introduction

Join SCI for the 4th Annual Risk Transfer & Synthetics Seminar

JPMorgan Chase continues to push back the frontiers of the CRT market in the US, in August pricing its first auto loan securitisation in 14 years. The Chase Auto Credit Linked Notes Series 2020-1 followed a $2bn synthetic MBS securitisation in July, so seemingly US issuers are learning lessons from their more experienced European counterparts. SCI's Risk Transfer & Synthetics Seminar explores the micro and macro drivers behind these landmark deals and whether this flurry of business could spur further risk transfer activity across a broader range of US originators and asset classes. The seminar also examines innovation across the whole range of mortgage insurance-linked notes and GSE credit risk transfer programmes, as the market re emerges from the shadow of Covid 19.
