Co-Founder
Robert Horowitz is a seasoned structured finance veteran who has pioneered the use of asset-backed securitization across multiple industries and collateral types, including media, insurance, life sciences, technology, specialty finance, and synthetic risk transfers. As the Co-Founder of Vistina Structured Credit, Robert leads the firm’s efforts to provide structured credit solutions to both issuers and investors in non-traditional asset-backed financings.
Prior to founding Vistina, Robert served as the Chief Investment Officer for Iconic Artists Group, a leading music rights platform whose financing he arranged while a Senior Managing Director in Guggenheim Securities’ Structured Products Origination Group. While at Guggenheim, Robert introduced numerous new securitization asset classes to the market, many of which, including music rights, have become multi-billion-dollar markets with multiple repeat issuers.
Before joining Guggenheim, Robert ran operations and business affairs for independent music publisher Primary Wave. Prior to Primary Wave, Robert was a senior member of the structured finance team at Credit Suisse, where, in addition to arranging Primary Wave’s financing and structuring its catalog acquisitions, he advised numerous other first-time issuers in first-time asset classes.
Robert has also held senior positions with the Royal Bank of Scotland, Greenwich Capital Markets and Oppenheimer & Co. Rob has a BBA in Finance from the University of Michigan.
