Adam Dener is a Managing Director at Conning with 28 years of experience in banking and financial services technology management. Mr. Dener has extensive experience in transaction banking products covering trade finance, cash management and securities processing including managing and servicing credit risk. Previously, at The Bank of New York and Reuters where he managed operating business units in transaction processing including trade finance, cash management and F/X. He was also partner at CAPCO and PricewaterhouseCoopers where he advised financial institutions and regulators on matters related to capital, bank performance, and businesses, including trade finance. He has been serving as an Executive in Residence at Aquiline Capital Partners were he worked on both a start-up trade finance venture in creating a trade finance fund and creating a trade finance servicer. Adam holds a B.S. from Cornell University, is a Cornell Tradition Fellow and has been published on bank capital, bank efficiency and trade finance in numerous professional journals.
